As part of my online photography course, this week the challenge has been to convert our photographs to Black and White.

Here is my youngest in the park yesterday.

Wave

A disturbance on a body of matter in the form of a ridge or swell. Also a hand gesture to motion a greeting or indeed a period or spell of unusually hot or cold weather. Wave is everywhere, where is yours?

This was an ideal prompt for me, as I have spent the last 5 weeks by the sea. I took this on Runkerry Strand yesterday.

In case you are wondering - this is not our door with the peeling paint! There is an abandoned cottage nearby.

Row

Row

A number of persons or things arranged in a continuous line. Also two or more people having a heated argument also known as a "row"

Here is a row from my Paris trip.

Thanks for looking/commenting!

Ring

Today at Her Space : My Space the prompt is Ring

As we were going to the playground this morning, here are a few shots that loosely fit the category.

I also got a few upside-down shots as a catch-up for last week

Thanks for visiting my blog.

SOS

On a Sunday, at HS:MS we are encouraged to show off some of our favourite photos.

Here are 2 from yesterday and today - I couldn't choose, so you get both!

The first was taken at Dunsevrick Harbour, Co Antrim, last night.

This was this morning, a walk after a heavy rain shower in Portrush, Co Antrim. If there is a puddle, my son will find it!

On holidays now near the sea, so expect a seaside theme to most of my upcoming photos.

Take care.

Ripe

At HSMS today the prompt is

Ripe

Developed to the point of readiness. Show us 'ripe' in your space today.

Was it just me, or did anyone else feel like they were back at school in art class, arranging a bowl of fruit for Still Life Drawing?

Took my son to a friend's farm, and we collected fresh eggs from the hen house. Now he knows they don't all come clean in a box from Tesco's!

Creep

The challenge today in HS:MS is Creep to wander in a stealth or slow manner. Also to describe a plant growing against the wall or ground

This is a bit of a cheat, as I took this photo a few months ago -it is an abandoned greenhouse in the grounds of Castlewellan Castle, Co Down, N Ireland.

Freckles

Continuing on with our Disney inspired prompts, today we start with one of the most famous litters of puppies I know. Obviously we wont make you snap them all but we'd like you to work through just a few of the 101 Dalmatians. Starting with... Freckles

Flora

Today at HS:MS the prompt is Flora.

I have been a bit remiss about participating due to the Paris trip (the start of lots of photos can be seen on my main blog here).

I took this photo at the daily flower market in Paris, and I have also included a digital scrapbook page I made using the same photo.

Thanks for looking.
