Jar

On Her Space : My Space today's prompt is jar - A wide-mouthed container made of glass or pot to contain food. Show us a 'jar' in your space.

However here in Northern Ireland, we have another item which we call a jar (as in days gone by, it was stone jar that was filled with hot water to heat the bed).

I realise this must make us sound very old-fashioned/quaint/colloquial but there you have it - this is a jar in my space today.
